Stone by Nature is the most experienced shipper of granite vanity tops in North America.
All vanity tops are carefully inspected for defects prior to packing they are then fully enclosed in a custom wood crate. The ceramic sinks are strapped to the top of the crate in separate cardboard boxes. Instructions and all hardware are included for easy homeowner installation. Sinks are not attached by Stone by Nature to allow you a choice in sink color and to facilitate safe shipping of your vanity top.
All vanity tops are shipped via transport truck, once crated your shipment will weigh from 150 pounds up to 330 pounds depending on the size of top ordered. For residential deliveries the transport truck will be equipped with a liftgate to allow the driver to safely lower the large crate to the ground. Please note that delivery by transport truck is considered “curbside” delivery, if your driveway and garage are easily accessible the driver can usually place the crate in the garage.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Stone by Nature has the best crating in the industry, we experience a very low damage rate to our products, this being said damage does occasionally occur. It is the responsibility of the consignee to carefully inspect all sides of the crate, including the underside of the crate, for damages. All shipments are insured during transit, DO NOT SIGN THE DELIVERY SLIP WITHOUT INSPECTING THE SHIPMENT CAREFULLY. If you have any concerns or note impact damage to the crate we suggest you insist upon opening the crate and inspecting the contents for damage prior to accepting the shipment.
If the shipment is damaged you are to refuse the shipment and instruct the driver to return the shipment to their sorting facility.
Stone by Nature is not responsible for shipments where damage is apparent to the shipping crate and it is not noted on the delivery slip, this is considered concealed damage and any claim must be filed by the consignee with the Transport company.
Shipping charges are listed by the State our posted shipping rate includes the bulk of residential locations, there are some areas where surcharges apply, some examples are New York City, Martha's Vineyard, remote locations, etc. Stone by Nature reserves the right to apply a surcharge for high cost delivery areas, if unable to reach agreement with the customer we will cancel the order and refund all customer payments.
